The interview process starts with a phone interview. We want to know more about you and “Why AquaTech?” 

 

If the initial interview goes well, you’ll be invited in to meet the team for an on-site interview. You’ll meet our senior managers and answer in-depth questions related to the job.

 
If an offer is made, a full training course will be designed for you. You will learn all of the important policies, processes and procedures for your job role and the company overall.

Frequently asked questions

We are always on the hunt for wonderful people to join our team of staff and when we find one, we move quickly! Generally speaking, if we want you onboard, you will receive an email within a day or 2 of the interview. 

Each position offers its own unique training course that is built based on our standard training items and your availability. We do our best to schedule the right amount of training given the schedule you provide us to work with! While we will train you to do the job you were hired for, lots of learning takes place over the first 90 days of employment and we work with you to ensure you are on the right track and feeling confident! Training is paid. 

The amount of hours per week is determined by the position and your availability. Please be sure to let your interviewer know how many hours per week you are interested in on a regular basis! Generally speaking, here are the details for each position: 

 

PART-TIME: Instruction, Customer Care. 

 

FULL-TIME: Management, Administration, Janitorial. 

The Alameda Campus has been open since 2007, with a new location built in 2014. The Concord Campus has been open since 2010. 

Uniform shirts and/or rash guards will be given to wear as uniform. We require plain black athletic bottoms and athletic footwear to be worn with our uniform shirts.

 

Customer Relations Managers and Administrators dress in business casual attire. 

We require all staff (with the exception of our Customer Relations Managers and Administrators) to be CPR certified within the first 90-days of employment. Certifications are the applicant’s responsibility to obtain and maintain throughout their employment. 

AquaTech pool environments are indoor, warm water facilities. The pools are 4 foot in depth and the water temperature is kept between 88-90 degrees.

Average workday…what is that?! We are a fast paced, ever-changing environment where there is always something new and unexpected occurring each day…It is never boring! Each position comes with different responsibilities and tasks to complete, be sure to discuss them with your interviewer! If you can handle change well and handle it with a smile, this is the environment for you!

Ironically, no, you do not need to know how to swim! Our motto is: We hire character and train skill! If you love working with children and families to build confidence and achieve goals, if you are reliable, honest, hardworking, then we can teach you all the rest! Become a great swimmer AND a great teacher all in one shot!

Absolutely! Most of our managers and even some of the senior management staff started as part time staff members in one department or another. You determine how high you rise! There are many positions to learn many different skills that all build upon each other, making you more valuable in the company! AquaTech Swim is seeking a Human Resource Administrator for our small but growing company. The successful candidate will be a committed individual with a proven successful background of outstanding communication and organizational skills. Applicants must be able to demonstrate a minimum of 3-5 years in a leadership and/or senior administrative role. 

JANITOR

Cleaning, Maintenance, Upkeep

The external and internal appearance of our building reflects on our brand. It is important for our janitor to be careful and thorough in working, cleaning and tidying the premises, as well as preventing vandalism. The ideal candidate will be experienced in a janitor role focused on building upkeep. They will have great physical endurance to cover a large space. A keen eye for detail and diligence are also imperative in this position.
